McClelland - Priest B&B

Full modernization of the McClelland Priest House located in the historic downtown neighborhood of Napa. The structure was originally built in the 1880s and is listed as one of the City of Napa’s historic properties. While preserving the original architectural and historic look and feel of the property, renovations include a new full height sublevel basement, foundation and framing structural retrofit, all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire prevention system, seven bathroom remodels, kitchen remodel, elevator addition and site/landscape improvements.

Eliza G. Yount Mansion

“Gray Haven” at the Eliza G. Yount Mansion is complete seismic restoration, including new foundation and full interior remodel of NRHP-listed dwelling built in 1884. Work included restoration of original hardware, doors, windows, flooring and fireplace surrounds. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems replaced and completely updated to current codes, and further installation of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems beyond code requirements. Bruce Tucker Construction removed, stored and reinstalled and refinished original woodwork.

Beringer Rhine House

Seismic retrofit and restoration. This project consisted of strengthening the structure using steel, wood and concrete components rising three stories inside the building. To allow for these installations the majority of the historical finishes were removed and were reinstalled. New tasting rooms and an events kitchen was created. The power and plumbing systems were all completely re-done. Also, a new ground source heat pump HVAC system was installed for the project consisting of 30 bores, interior and site piping to service seven new air handlers. All concrete frame and finish carpentry work completed by Bruce Tucker Construction.

St. Helena Catholic Church Seismic Restoration

Seismic upgrade and restoration of original stone church that was built in 1887 and reconstructed in 1946. This project included a three-story demolition and installation of shotcrete at the entrance, nave and baptistry as well as removal and reinstallation of exterior work and interior finishes. BTC removed existing stone, cut back and reinstalled the stone buttresses after concrete buttress had been installed. Additionally, entry areas and ramps were added for ADA compliance. Interior finishes included plaster of the new shotcrete walls, flooring, fresh paint, and rebuilding the choir loft, confessional booths and altar modifications.

 

La Crema Estate

Complete interior and exterior remodel of this 100 year old barn that sits in the beautiful Russian River Valley.

 
 

Odd Fellows Lodge St. Helena

The third phase of this retrofit at the third floor level and roof assembly of the Odd Fellows Building in Down Town St Helena. Included a full re-finish of the Main Odd Fellow hall, historic skylight restoration and a new flagpole assembly - installation donated by Bruce Tucker Construction.

La Jota Winery Calistoga

Structural retrofit of this 120 year old stone historic winery structure located just above Angwin. The project consisted of voluntary structural upgrades, full stone repointing, window and door refurbishment, roof re-build and new roof assemblies. This work brought new life into this jewel of history.
